SASCU Insurance proudly supports the 2011 Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. Last year, this annual event saw more than 188,500 Canadians participate in over 490 events.

Since the first relay in 1999, more than $53 million has been raised for the Cancer Society.

This year's Relay for Life took place June 4 & 5. The team's goal was to raise $5,000. They surpassed their expectation and reached $7,291.10 for the Cancer Society. Overall the Relay for Life event in Salmon Arm raised more than $150,00 for the fight against cancer.
