Community Involvement

SASCU Insurance proudly supported the 2010 Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. Last year, this annual event saw 207,000 Canadians participate, making up 21,135 teams.

Since the first relay in 1999, more than $52 million has been raised for the Cancer Society.

This year's Relay for Life took place June 5 and SASCU Insurance staff were involved in fundraising for the event and in the relay itself as part of the Credit Union Crewzers team. A total of $7,073.35 was raised. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
